In its own words
We operate the Tatlayoko Lake Bird Observatory which identifies and bands migratory birds each year from August to October. We operate the Nature Days program which offers ecological education to children from local and regional schools. In 2023 this program focused on bird-related events at the Tatlayoko Lake Bird Observatory. We provide a facility for visiting educators and students to use while conducting their own ecological and environmental studies. We hold educational events (such as lectures and films) for local residents and the community.
