Symphony Nova Scotia enriches the lives of Nova Scotians through creative professional performance of a broad spectrum of orchestral music. We offer over 60 live performances of symphonic music each year to the public in Halifax and throughout Nova Scotia. Our education and outreach programs promote and encourage interest in and appreciation of music for all ages. We manage both a fully professional orchestra and a youth orchestra offered as a training opportunity.
