Studio 180's purpose is to introduce toronto audiences to socially relevant teatre that provokes public discourse and promotes community engagement through the production of plays that tackle difficult societal issues as well as various educational programs designed to introduce audiences to the enjoyment of drama. The organization puts on several shows per year in partnership with other theatres in conjunction with in class workshops for students and educators and a program supporting up and coming directors in the productions of new plays.
