The stated aims of the air cadet program is: to develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership; to promote physical fitness and to stimulate the interest of youth in the aviation and aerospace industry including the royal canadian air force. This goal is achieved through weekly training weekend events and summer camps. The sponsoring association is a group of volunteers who suport the youth through both presence and fundraising activities.
