The rec centre provides community access to an ice hockey rink used for public skating and rental to minor hockey leagues. They also have 4 sheets of curling ice for the community to enjoy. They host fundraising events to raise money for general maintenance of their rinks as well as special projects (ie scoreboards rubber flooring etc).
