The Steveston Historical Society has been in place since 1976 to preserve and promote the history of Steveston BC. Our Board of Directors is made up completely of volunteers who work on events programs and community engagement pieces that help to inform Steveston residents and visitors about its heritage. Both of the ongoing programs were back this year for 2024 . Walking Tour Vignettes operated successfully during the summer of 2024 16 volunteers from the local a high school drama program totaling 152 volunteer hours took participants back to 1917.
