The purpose is to continue the operation of a ukrainian catholic parish in the city of red deer alberta by funding the operating expenses and maintaining the facility. The ukrainian displaced persons planning committee (udppc) was established in march 2022 to aid displaced persons and families fleeding the war in ukraine. A fund has been established to support ukrainian displaced families in their relocation to and integration in central alberta.
