St. Patrick's home for ottawa is a catholic charitable not-for-profit sponsored by the catholic health sponsors of ontario governed by a volunteer board of directors under the auspices of the ministry of long-term care. The home provides person-directed long-term care as well as respite services to persons of all religious and ethnic origins in the ottawa region. As a christian community it visibly continues the healing ministry of christ and the caring spirit of st. Marguerite d'youville. It is an active partner in an integrated and comprehensive long-term care system.
