Regularly Scheduled Programs each lasting between 1-4 hours were held in multiple cities across Canada and were attended by local congregations. These programs (usually weekly) included: • Kirtan (singing of hymns from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji) • Leader-led simran (meditative chanting) • Katha - discussions on Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji teachings These on-going programs took place in Sikh Gurdwaras (temple) or schools and were entirely volunteer-run.
