The Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging (RIA) is a free-standing research institute and charitable organization. The RIA supports research and explores aging across various topics through partnerships and a team of world class researchers. But research is taken further. It's mobilized. The research findings are used to create and improve resources programs education and training practices and policies. Then what works is shared in real-life settings. Community donors and funders make this happen.
