Saskatoon search and rescue is a ground search and rescue team of volunteers who assist in the search for missing persons. They operate training programs as well as public awareness information sessions and preventative awareness programs. Ssar runs project lifesaver which is a program which provides monitoring of elgible participants who are known to wander.
