The purpose of the charity is to hold an annual fundraising event in july named saskatoon pets in the park to raise funds for the following local animal rescue charities: street cat rescue program (scat) saskatoon saskatoon society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (saskatoon spca) and new hope dog rescue. The event was not able to take place in 2023 but pets in the park was still accepting donations.
