Folkfest is a community-based event and its aim are primarily cultural and educational. The main purpose of the organization is educating the public about the different cultures withing our society in order to appreciate one's heritage and preserve valued aspects of culture. The organization also provides scholarships to deserving students for the purpose of fulfilling their educational goals.
