The covid-19 pandemic impaired operations in 2020. The foundation redoubled its work in 2021 to use the investment funds generated its endowments to solicit candidates and make substantive awards to saskatchewan artists. The foundation discontinued the use of the saskatchewan arts board for the purpose of adjudication of candidates' work.
