Programs continue to be centered on the educatiion of sara corning and how her story is relevant today as a true canadian hero who grew up and lived in our community of yarmouth county. Sara's efforts in saving the armenian's from the ottoman empire's efforts of genocide and sara's assistance after the halifax explosion continue to be an inspirational story of how one person can make a difference. In 2024 work continued on the sara memorial park in chegoggin including this year adding signage to the park and installing cement pads for the 2 information panels and a bench to be installed. Ra…
