In its own words
The Association operates two greenhouses and a cold frame greenhouse where they grow plants and flowers. Most of these plants and flowers are used in the public gardens. The Association maintains the gardens all year round for general use at no charge to the public. Some of the plants and flowers are sold to help with the costs of the public gardens. From April until early October the Association runs a campground in Rockwood Park. Any surplus from the campground operations are reinvested back into the campground through capital improvements with the remainder going to the public gardens.
