Funds for the poppy fund are raised through the generosity of the community during our yearly poppy campaign which normally commences the last friday of october and ends on the 11th november. This campaign is operated by many volunteers and collection trays/coin boxes in stores distributing poppies. Funds raised are used to provide assistance to veterans their dependants where needed. The funds provide awards for youth education: I.e. Poster poems and essay contests assistance to youth by way of student bursaries cadet training support.
