The charity is the poppy trust fund of cobequid branch # 72 royal canadian legion. 1. Purchase of wreaths crosses and poppies for resale and used during the annual poppy campaign. 2. Provide comforts for shut-ins as required 3. Visit to members and veterans in hospital and nursing homes. 4. Provide financial assistance for members and veterans when required. 5. Host church services to honour veterans. 6. Place flags and crosses on veterans graves in local cemeteries. 7. Provide bursaries for community college and university students.
