Under regulartions designated by the royal canadian legion dominion command the poppy fund assists veterans their spouses and dependants when an unexcpeted crisis occurs causing the interruption in normal living conditions. Assistance is provided to the individual until the situation can be assessed and a more permanent solutions is in place. This assistance is provided whether the entrant is a legion member or not. Donations are made to local qualifying charites. Hospital comforts are provided for qualified persons. Bursaries are provided to children and grandchildren of qualified veterans.…
