Donations are made in memoriam at the time of death of a legion comrade by individuals and by the general fund.l an annual bursary is made to a student entering or pursuing their post-secondary education including courses or programs of a technical and vocational nature. To be eligible for the bursary the student must be the child or grandchild of: ex-service personnel or those currently serving the canadian armed forces; ordinary and life members of the royal canadian legion; associate members of the royal canadian legion; ladies' auxiliary members.
