Funds collected during the poppy campaign are distributed to veterans in the municipality. Distribution of the funds is based on the needs of our veterans including but not limited to medical assistance daily living expenses such as heat and hydro. Funds are also distributed to provincial command as donations to royal canadian programs such as 'leave the streets behind' finally burseries are awarded to children of veterans with low income.
