As friends of the rideau our public name we operate a rideau water way- focused website . We research write and published rideau waterway historical heritage culture and environment books and pamphlets to educate the public. In the summer months we operate a rideau canal visitors centre in montreal on. Where we welcomed 13 228 visitors in 2024. We participate in public events along the rideau canal informing the public about the heritage of rideout national historic site. We support local and regional organizations with similar sites.
