L'organisme a été constitué le 5 février 2016 en vertu de la partie iii de la loi sur les compagnies du québec et est un organisme vise à mobiliser les organismes sans but lucratif. L'organisme vise à mobiliser les organismes communautaires et les partenaires autour de l'itinérance. Il favorise la justice sociale par des initiatives et des actions concrètes pour informer et sensibiliser la population lavalloise à la problématique de l'itinérance.
