Receipt and distribution of assistive devices -- purinapaq receives used and new assistive devices (including wheelchairs walkers crutches canes & hearing aids) by donation. Purinapaq volunteers collect the devices (usually from around southern ontario) and then inspect clean and refurbish the devices. Purinpaq then loads a shipping container full of such devices and the container is then shipped by sea to a destination where they do not have a ready supply of such devices for example to cuba or peru.
