The pumphouse theatres society uses a designated heritage building to provide subsidized rental space to the community emerging and young professional theatre companies which might otherwise not be able to afford comparable space. The society also runs annual drama day camps during the spring breaks and the summer as well as providing ongoing theatrical training programs and courses for youth in order to assist the development of the next generation of theatre professionals.
