In 2024 the powassan and district union public library (pdupl) continued to operate 44 hours per week and offering a variety of programs for all ages as well as reading materials computer access. Dvd's and other miscellaneous items to the local community.it also provided access to online books in written and audio format as well as magazines. A lifelabs blood clinic continued to operate twice a week at the library.
