Historical article collection prhs uses its building the emmanuel heritage centre to house artifacts of historical significance to portland ontario. Musical events several musical events were house at the emmanuel heritage centre for the residents of portland. The events were free with donations welcome to the prhs if participants wished. Hosting craft markets several markets were hosted by the prhs in the emmanuel heritage centre to attract tourists to portland. Also hosted rideau lakes studio tour. Community gatherings held the second friday of each month.
