In its own words
To provide protection to the community and area from fire and to provide first response when an emergency occurs in the area. We are located in a remote area where there are a lot of tourists during the Spring Summer and Fall months and our department is the only first responder unit within a 50-kilomerter radius. Maintaining firefighter training performing fire drills and maintaining firefighting equipment on a regular basis. Educating fire safety to the students of the only elementary school in the area.
