The pickering community concert band delivers as a charitable activity live musical events for the citizens of pickering. Events such as a christmas concert christmas tree lighting celebration and art fest are intended to provide free musical entertainment for benefit for the residents of pickering. Delivering free programs for the celebration of the musical mosaic for the benefit of the residents of pickering delivered a free edutainment session for local community school children to expose them to musical educational and enjoyment.
