The purpose of the canadian chinese society for the arts is to advance the public's appreication of the arts by producing chinese and western classical music presentations and performance events and to provide a forum for qualified artists to exhibit present or perform their artistic works through participation in such events. During the 2023/24 season the charity has produced a major concert at koerner hall toronto. A new work by canadian composer alice ping yee ho was commissioned for this event and will be recorded in november 2024.
