Our continued mission is to assist the welfare of stray and unwanted dogs in First Nation communities of Northern Canada. We carried out this mission with our rehoming program offering the Band Council and community members an opportunity to remove unwanted dogs through the community into our care for rehoming. This program is in place to assist with the overpopulation of dogs in these communities. With this rehoming program the unwanted dogs receive extensive veterinary care proper nutrition and homing situations until adoption. Activities in this program include coordinating flights …
