OCan is a film festival in Ottawa that celebrates Canadian film with annual festival screenings at the Bytowne Cinema in November and activities throughout the year. Our mission is to enhance the public’s appreciation of the arts by producing and operating an annual film festival in Ottawa that is open to the public and by providing a platform for qualified artists and filmmakers to showcase their artistic work through participation in the film festival.
