No activity due to covid 19 but database was maintained as is accessible: we conduct and coordinate scientific surveys of birds and bird habitat within and surrounding the city of ottawa. We store the data from the surveys in a publically accessible online database that we maintain (no charge for access or data-use). We analyze the data to generate estimates of bird density and other data-products which are also made available to the public. The surveys are conducted by a group of 70-90 volunteers at approximately 1000 pre-determined locations across the city. We provide educational tool…
