*ostomy halifax is an independent health organization that provides services and support to nova scotians prior to and after ostomy surgery. *since 1973 we have provided a hospital visitation program in the halifax region whereby new ostomates and their loved ones can chat with healthy active ostomates about the non medical aspects of living with an ostomy.
