The purpose of the old ladies home society is to continue to help those in need in the town and county of yarmouth nova scoita and especially seniors. The board of directors decided the best way to continue the mandate of the old ladies home society was to move the money into the community foundation of nova scotia which is a qualified donee and from there to continue to direct the funds yearly to help those in need in yarmouth.
