In its own words
Oakridge seniors' centre was temporarily closed from mar/2020 until sept/2022 both due to covid-19 and the fact that our location at oakridge mall was completely demolished and everything had been put into storage. We have secured a new location and re-opened in sept/2022. Our coordinator returned from her maternity leave in may/2022 and was paid her full wage while she organized the setup and reopening. She resigned in october/2022. We now operate with only volunteers including our bookkeeper. We offer limited programming at the moment - bridge fitness line dance yoga birthday + special …
