The north york general hospital volunteer services under the direction of the hospital's board of governors and administration provides assistance in all of the hospital's departments clinics and senior health centre. It also takes sole responsiblity in running the hospital gift shop. The volunteer services has wound down operations and donated all remaining funds to the hospital.
