The society operates a year round museum in a modern building in the former town of north sydney nova scotia. The museum displays historical artifacts pictures and documents detailing life in the town since its incorporation in 1885. We partner with the local library and carry out programs to educate children and adults alike about the rich history of north sydney. We have taken travelling displays to local schools to show children and educators a small piece of the museum in the hope that they will become interested and visit the museum.
