North russell union cemetery board members are responsibile for maintaining the cemtery grounds and keeping the property in good repair. The board ensures that the grass is cut monthly and that the monuments aee neatly trimmed around; that the trees hedges and shrubs are maintained and that the driveways are kept in good condition. Any low spots or holes on the grounds are filled with topsoil and reseeded as necessary. All of the monuments have a yearly inspection and repairs are made when necessary.
