In its own words
The north colchester river restoration association works to better the fish habitats in the waughs and french rivers for the benefit of migratory fish. This is done through the building and installation of brush bundles drift logs and other structures into the watercourses. Bank stabilization is accomplished through tree planting and armour rock emplacement. An annual river walk allows the public to learn how the summer staff of students and our group of volunteers have enhanced the habitat.
