The organization operated a day care and after school care facility in new minas ns during the weekdays during the year. It was staffed by early childhood educators who provided a curriculum prescribed by the province of nova scotia. Substitute instructors were employed on a part time basis. In addition a meal and snack program was provided by a regular part-time cook. Volunteers provided guidance by serving on a board of directors and providing accounting and other financial services for the centre.
