THE NEW LONDON FIRE DEPARTMENT IS A VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT PROVIDING FIRE FIGHTING AND RESCUE SERVICES TO A RURAL COMMUNITY. This includes fire-fighting via volunteers motor vehicle accident clean-up traffic control during accident clean-up volunteer fire-fighting training rescuing individuals on the water or from motor vehicle accidents community summer and Christmas parades (awareness and giving back) canteen and lottery draws during training or community events and weekly lottery draws (with several other fire companies on PEI) as an annual fundraiser.
