NWC is focused on helping sick injured and orphaned native wildlife species through wildlife medical care rehabilitation & training. More than 500 animals were seen for medical treatment over the past year and most were released by licensed rehabilitators. NWC realized more than 2 000 volunteer hours in the year by dedicated wildlife veterinarians and non medical personnel. NWC provides education and training to wildlife biology students veterinarians rehabilitators and others to help the wildlife in Canada.
