In its own words

We have provided orchestral support for the Malaspina Choir. We perform classical string repertoire 3 times a year. The audience pays to attend with discounted prices for students and children under 12 are free. We play in another mid-island community. We provide chairs for young musicians and mentor them in orchestral technique. The students pay to play – ½ of what an adult pays. We hold annual concerto competition for young (under 21) musicians with a prize and solo performance with the orchestra.
