Mile zero dance (mzd) society operates a dance studio and community space for creation production and educational dance programs in house and within the inner city community centres and schools. K-12 artist in residence school programs teach creative movement for student performances. Mzd is a presenter of dance and of interdisciplinary arts with a full season of performances. Mzd also coordinates dance workshops presenting new techniques and choreography for all levels of artists. Mzd provides a consistent hub for emerging and professional artists alike.
