The centre is a 10600 year old paleo-indian site being developed by mi'kmawey debert cultural centre on behalf of the mi'kmaq nation in nova scotia. The site contains some of the earliest evidence of first people on the eastern seaboard of north america. The centre's endeavor is to protect and oversee this site and develope a facility to share the historical and cultural significance of the mi'kmaq people.
