Salama shield foundation (ssf) provides 'health and development' programming for resource-compromised villages in malawi and uganda. Ssf’s programs include: micro-credit revolving loans; safe water sanitation and hygiene (wash); permaculture training and support (addressing food insecurity); and psycho-social support for mental health and gender-based violence (gbv) concerns. In canada (ontario) ssf continues to partner with sovereign core (durham) to ameliorate the mental health concerns of black ethnocultural communities.
