In person mentoring for new or seasoned amputees by a Certified Peer Visitor (CPV) - certified by the Amputee Coalition of Canada. Mentors bring resources to the amputee and then go through the process after amputation for rejoining life as they previously had. This entails helping them contact the people that will adjust their surroundings in their home vehicle etc. Also mentors are there for moral support and to encourage them to join in support groups for amputees. In this time period 144 hours of volunteer time were logged.
