The charity's charitable activity is the placing of abandoned dogs in permanent homes. This is achieved through members of the charity and volunteer fosters. Dogs are taken in from around the province of manitoba and temporarily placed in foster homes. While in foster care the charity provides all necessary veterinary care. Potential adopters are screened through the charity's adoption process to ensure the dog is placed in a safe appropriate home. After the dog is adopted the charity also provides for the intial round of vaccinations as well as the spay or neuter procedure.
