In its own words

Makkovik moravian church endeavors to meet the spiritual needs of the community. A church building and manse (minister's residence) are maintained. Chapel servants (volunteers) hold worship services at least weekly more often during christmas and easter. Sunday school is also offered. Since our building (church) was built 1992 our insurance company insisted the roof be reshingled and that was the amin expense to hire a contracting company to do the job.
